Genomic Organization and Transcriptional Regulation
I have a strong background in the development and application of quantitative techniques and theoretical frameworks directed towards the interrogation of complex biological systems. My graduate training in molecular and cellular biology at Harvard University focused on the development and application of next generation sequencing techniques with the intent of understanding transcription in eukaryotes. During my time at Columbia University and soon at the University of Wisconsin–Madison I direct my research group’s quantitative interests towards questions in neurobiology. I have perfected a robust system of multiomic single cell sequencing and have applied state of the art computational algorithms to the analysis of single cell and spatially resolved sequencing data.
